Well, my scanner finally died, so until I can get a new one, I'm afraid I won't be scanning anything any time soon. I'll try to get the problem fixed as soon as possible, but until then it might be a few days before I can update again.
The end of the semester is upon us, I have finished my finals, and I am quite pleased to announce that WWB is back on schedule! I apologize profusely for the sporadic updating for the past few weeks, but that should no longer be a problem. Starting today, expect a strip a day, six days a week, as always! (Until they run out, anyway.)
Okay, first of all, apologies.
This semester has been insanely hectic and I barely have time to breathe, much less scan and edit comic strips.
I may not be able to get around to WWB when I want to for another month or so. However, when I do, I've adopted the policy of scanning entire pages at a time and uploading them here, to be released on a daily basis.
So basically what this means is that there will be a spate of 5-7 days in a row with comic updates (excluding Sundays, as always), and then maybe a one- or two- day break. Rinse and repeat.
I'd love to get these scanned on a better schedule, but...everything is just so crazy right now.
Updates may be sparse for the rest of this week as I'm looking into implementing something that will probably be much less work for me, and as this semester draws on I need all the spare time and energy I can get.
That's that thing I have to do twice a year, for about four months.
Updates might be a little sporadic as I get my bearings and readjust my workload.
So maybe don't expect a new strip every day for another week or so.
Also I might be going out of town over Labor Day weekend, so that Friday, Saturday, and following Monday may or may not have strips uploaded (leaning toward "may not" at the moment).
*edit* I'm also out of town THIS weekend, so...I should start putting strips up again next week. Wow. I actually have a life, this is so odd.
That seems to happen a lot in the summer, doesn't it?
I regret to inform you all that there won't be any WWB uploads from the 27th to...well, whenever I can get around to it. We're sort of playing things by ear at the moment, but I'll keep you guys posted as to when I can resume uploads (I'll have access to the Internet, just not to my scanner).
Updates will resume as usual from now on.
(How many more strips do I have left to scan? Yikes.)
